Chinese Crested Dog Club Open Show 3rd August 2025 Firstly, I would like to thank the club for inviting me to judge this wonderful open show, I have been in this breed since 2007 so was wonderful to judge my heart breed. it was very well run as per usual, the committee done a great job, I haven’t been around the crested ring for a while due to raising my young family, but I am so pleased to see the size and mouths improving. Thank you for the exhibitors for entering under me I had a brilliant entry and some wonderful dogs and lastly thank you to my stewards Bruce and Chrys who made my appointment run with ease. Baby Puppy Dog (2,2) 1st Pufflepaws Somnis De Reis Gemadar Mahogany and cream Hairless. Pleasing side profile. This boy had a soft expression with good dark almond eyes. chiselled face and correct ear set. Good balanced front and straight legs set under body. Hare feet. Well-developed chest for his age. Holding a level topline and well rounded rump. Tail well set and happy, flowing movement. 2nd Pufflepaws Dream to Reality. litter mate to winner, I just I felt this boy was a lot more raw. Still a pleasing puppy, with balanced outline. Again, good dark almond eye. Nice neck into clean shoulders. Level topline and well-set tail. Once he settled moved well. Minor Puppy Dog (2,1A) 1st Karamouche Pandamodium Happy to award this black and white powderpuff boy BPIS. Such a happy temperament. Pleasing head, with chiselled clean cheeks. Nice length of muzzle with dark eye. Almond eyes set wide apart. Well arched neck into well angulated front. Chest well developed for age. Straight legs set well under chest. Medium length of body with a well-rounded rump holding a level topline. Balanced rear angulation which made his move soundly. Lovely coat for age. I’m sure he will go far. Well done. Puppy Dog 0 entries Junior dog (2,1A) 1st Pufflepaws yes please you can Boogie with Iapea A very balanced outline of this young white and grey sable powderpuff dog. He has a wonderful headpiece. Dark almond eye. Clean cheeks, with tapered muzzle. Well set ears. Lean arched, neck and well laid shoulders. Nice depth of chest with elbows close to body. Good length to body with a balanced rear, nice fine coat, very well presented. Flowing movement, just felt he didn’t show his best today. Yearling Dog (7,1A) 1st. Bryelis Boys are back in town A mahogany and cream hairless with so much to like. Well-proportioned outline. Lovely head with dark almond eye. Good mouth. Good ear set and used well. Nice length of muzzle, well tapered. Lean, arched neck onto well laid shoulders. Straight front with hare feet. Nice depth to chest. Level topline held on the move. Good firm stifle and let down hocks. Wonderful tail set. Effortless movement. Such a showman. To me just he lost out on maturity so had to settle for RBD 2nd Miatory Split Decision For Zanjero Another hairless that pushed hard. A balanced profile. Well set ears, with almond eye. muzzle of good length, but slightly broader in back skull however a clean head. Good shoulders on a straight front with hare feet. Level topline and used his tail well. Balanced rear angulation making him move with a flowing gait. 3rd Chestnutcres Beam Me Up Novice (6,3A) 1st Ravanas Miracle Avokaduh For Gemadar (imp Cze) Pleasing Mahogany and cream, still a youngster. Balanced head with dark eye and length to muzzle. Clean cheeks. Straight front with set well under body. Chest good for age. hare feet. Good neck length and body. Balanced rear angulation. High set tail, which he would carry a tad high. Sound movement. 2nd Cefndaidi Emelia Cream Powderpuff, balanced head dark almond eye. Didn’t use his ears well today. Arched neck into well laid shoulders. Straight front with hare feet. Good depth to chest. Enough length to body with level topline. And balanced rear. Wonderful skin. Pleasing head with good length to muzzle. Dark eye. Well set ears which he was happy to use. Arched neck. A tad broad in front but elbows held tight to body and hare feet. Good length to body and well-set tail. Wonderful skin. Dark almond eye with well-proportioned head. soft expression. Strong ears. Very good shoulders and front held under body. ok depth of chest. Level topline held well standing and on the move. well angulated rear, correct tail set. moved around the ring with ease. 2nd Shumllea imagine a Dream Black and white powderpuff. Stylish boy, nice headpiece with well set ears. Balanced front with tight elbows. Good hare feet. I would like a slightly longer neck to finish the picture. Good length to body and holding a level topline. Using his tail well. Just needed time to settle on the move. 3rd Bryelis The Star Man JW Open (4,1A) 1st Elfallons Little Dragon This dark mahogany and grey/white hairless boy caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. Unassuming but such a typical outline, wonderful size. Balanced throughout. Handsome head with dark, almond eye giving a soft expression. Correct ear set with large, flared ears. Lean neck into well laid shoulders. Elbows tight and held close body. good depth of chest. Lovely length to his body, holding a strong topline. Well angulated rear with let-down hocks. His tail completed the picture. Such free and easy movement very easy to award him BD, BOS and RBVIS 2nd Ch Kojikis The look of Love at Casacavallo Another well made dog. Heavier throughout. Well-proportioned head, dark eye and Good set ears. Arched neck with balanced front angulation. Tight elbows and straight front. Good feet. Level topline and good rear. Well let down hocks. tail used to his advantage. Effortless movement when settled. Again, of good size. Almond eye and dark pigment. Well set ears and lean neck. Good balance to shoulders just a tad loose at elbow. Good hare feet. I felt she did not use her ears to her advantage today so had to settle for RBPIS. When she settled down she did really show herself off. 2nd Bryelis Opps I lost my Halo Mahogany and cream hairless. Dark almond eye, with clean chiselled cheeks, ears a tad low. Lovey neck into good shoulders. Straight front held under body. hare foot. Good depth to chest. Level topline. Would prefer a shorter loin. Good tail set and balanced rear. Happy to go round the ring. Yearling bitch (3,3) 1st Bryelis Talking Bout My Girl JW Mahogany hairless. Good headpiece with dark almond eye. Well set ears. Lean, arched neck going into well laid shoulders. Straight front with a hare foot. Strong level topline, standing and on the move. good length to body, and balanced rear with firm stifles. Good ear set but would like a stronger ear. Well laid shoulders with straight front. Hare feet. Good depth to chest. medium length to body and well-balanced rear. Good tail set just needed to calm down on the move to show herself off. 3rd Cladary Triumph History Star (imp LVA) Limit Bitch (5,5) 1st Petwalk Naked Attraction (JKC) Wow! What a crested. Mahogany and cream Hairless. Perfect for size, typical outline. Such a wonderful happy temperament. Beautiful head all with correct proportions. Good mouth. Darkest of almond eye giving a soft expression. Large flared ears set low. Lean, arched neck, f lowing into well laid shoulders. Good straight front set under her, with tight elbows. Correct hare foot. good depth of chest. ideal length to body holding a strong topline which was held at all times. Well-rounded rump, with balanced angulation. Let down hocks. high set tail which she used so well. She flowed around the ring with reach and drive and all with such ‘look at me’ attitude Everything you could ask for in a crested, I was told she is sitting on 2 CC’s and im sure the crowing one will not be too far way. Congratulations on BB and BIS. 2nd Efallons Naked Angel A Hairless very similar to 1st. slightly larger however still a pleasing outline. Lovely balanced head. Chiselled cheeks and clean muzzle. Arched neck into good shoulders. Straight front with good hare feet. Elbows tight to body. good rear angulation with rounded rump. Level topline. Happy to go around the ring with effortless movement. 3rd Bryelis Oh I Wannabe Famous JW Open Bitch (4,2a) 1st Effalons Crazy Moon ShCM Mahogany Hairless, another wonderful girl who has so much to offer. Did not show her age at all. Lovely balanced outline. Great proportions to her head with a dark eye. Good mouth, Large, low set ears. Lean neck going into well laid shoulders with her front set well under her, elbows held close to body and hare foot. Medium length to body and a strong topline which she held standing and on the move. well-rounded rump and balanced rear angulation. well set tail and carried to her advantage. Another that flowed around the ring with great reach and drive. such a delightful girl.
