CRITIQUES

It was a pleasure to judge Crested again and would like to thank the Committee for inviting me to judge their Club Show. I would also like to thank Bruce Jackson, a true stalwart of the breed, for being my very capable steward for the day. I found that the quality varied from being outstanding to being polite, not so outstanding. Imported dogs are having an influence and not always for the betterment of the breed. In all breeds there is normally a dominant winner and currently Ch Habiba Hold My Purse is that for a reason, she is everything you could wish in a Crested wrapped up in one, general appearance, character, and movement, there is a reason she win’s, she is that good. I was disappointed when I could not judge her at Crufts in 2022 and it made my day to judge her today. I was pleased to award her Best In Show.
